What is the duration of each nursing course?
ANM is a 2-year diploma including a 6-month internship. GNM is a 3.5-year diploma including a 6-month internship. B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year degree programme including a supervised clinical internship.
What is the eligibility criteria for ANM admission 2026?
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board in Biology, Mathematics, Science, or Arts stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The candidate's age should be between 17 and 35 years as on 31 December 2026.
What is the eligibility criteria for GNM and B.Sc. Nursing?
For GNM, candidates need 10+2 with Science or Arts as per ABVMU norms with minimum 45% aggregate marks. For B.Sc. Nursing, candidates need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English with minimum 45% aggregate marks. Both require admission through ABVMU counselling.
